The pupils attitudes toward subject could positively affected the pupils achievement, therefore the investigation of pupils attitudes should be essential part of educational research. The main aim of the investigation was to find out pupils' attitudes towards biology by using a questionnaire as a research tool. Moreover the partial aims were to find out influence of gender, residence and grade level on the pupils' attitudes towards biology. The questionnaire comprised of 31 5-point items of Likert type divided into four dimensions. In addition, the influence of independent variables was found out on the four dimensions mentioned above. Furthermore, the correlation between the dimensions was analyzed as well. In total, 363 pupils from five primary schools were respondents of research. The girls had got more positively attitudes toward biology in comparison with boys, the youngest pupils achieved highest score and the oldest pupils achieved the lowest score. The pupils from rural environments had perceived biology more positively in comparison with pupils from urban environment.
