Burnout syndróm a subjektívna pohoda učiteľov

Článok sa zameriava na problematiku príčin a dôsledkov učiteľského stresu. Zhrnuté sú poznatky viacerých výskumných štúdií, zameraných na odhalenie zdrojov stresu a burnout syndrómu u učiteľov. Pozornosť je venovaná vplyvu burnout syndrómu na subjektívnu pohodu, ako aj premenným, ktoré moderujú vplyv pracovných stresorov a burnout syndrómu na subjektívnu pohodu učiteľov. K týmto moderujúcim premenným patria copingové stratégie, sociálna opora a osobnostné premenné ako osobná zdatnosť (self-efficacy), sebaúcta, umiestnenie kontroly (locus of control).

Burnout and subjective well-being of teachers

This article focuses on the issues of causes and consequences of teacher stress. Summarized are the findings of several research studies designed to detect sources of teacher stress and burnout. Attention is paid to the impact of burnout on subjective well-being, as well as variables that moderated the impact of job stressors and burnout on subjective well-being of teachers. These variables include coping strategies, social support and personality variables such as self-efficacy, self-esteem, locus of control.
