The pupils attitudes toward subject could positively affected the pupils achievement, therefore the investigation of pupils attitudes should be essential part of educational research. The main aim of the investigation was to find out pupils' attitudes towards biology by using a questionnaire as a research tool. Moreover the partial aims were to find out influence of gender, residence and grade level on the pupils' attitudes towards biology. Satisfaction Survey at School with the Use of Servqual Questionnaire

The article defines concepts of satisfaction and rate of satisfaction from the view of quality management and educational science. At the same time it warns against one-sided account of satisfaction in education. It introduces a general methodology of satisfaction surveys in education. It presents a tool called Servqual, its theoretical background and verification of its validity and reliability at a secondary school. In the conclusion it summarizes possibilities and limits of Servqual application in Czech educational environment.

The present paper deals with an overview of studies that have been carried out by students at the Faculty of Education and Faculty of humanities, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica in the period from 2005 to 2012 in the framework of thesis. In this text is presented empirical study, which was based on qualitative research. It describes which communicative strategies are used by children-pupils of primary education between school and family. By analysis of data obtained from interviews with 8 children-pupils, 8 parents and 2 teachers was extracted several strategies. Children try to apply these strategies to mediate informations, messages and different situations from school to their parents.

Media Education in Family: The Attitudes and Approaches of Czech Parents

The article focuses on the topic of media education in family environment in the Czech Republic. The theoretical section of the text sums up how this topic was processed in foreign and Czech studies. It includes also the broader context of the topic. The practical part of the article summarizes results of two qualitative analysis of in-depth interviews with parents who have children between the ages of 12 and 15. The analysis aims to contribute to the knowledge of a) how parents perceive the relationship between their children and the media and b) how they cope with the role of "media educator".

This paper describes how the individual socializes into the volunteer group. Empirical part reveals three stages of socialization: How the group learn the individual its norms, how the individual learns from the group and how this learning is evaluated. Socialization here is considered as learning to the norms of the group. The norms here are created by participants and they are testing them in pleasant and friendly environment which is open for experimentation with their creativity and also with their social identity and role.
