The influence of selected variables on the level of cyberbullying at the high school students

Cyberbullying is one of the phenomena that are an inseparable part of the education process nowadays. The aim of the research was to determine the level of cyberbullying related to the upper-secondary level students, the impact of variables such as loneliness, gender, school grade, residence, number of siblings, present status, mother and father education. The survey sample was made up of 269 high school students. A questionnaire with Likert-type items was used as a research tool. The results showed an important influence of the selected variables and their impact is discussed at the end of the study. The implications to practice were presented as well.

Analysis of the didactic equipment of biology textbooks for lower secondary school

The paper deals with the analysis of the didactic equipment of biology textbooks for the lower-secondary school. In total, 35 titles by seven publishing houses were included in the assessment. The method of measuring the didactic equipment of textbooks was used for the survey. This method is based on evaluating the extent of using individual structural parts that fulfil a specific function in the textbook. Therefore, it supports the role of text as a teaching medium. According to the research results, textbooks published by Nová škola, s. r. o. and Fraus appear to be the best.

Impact of fieldwork education on performing cognitive and affective objectives in pupils at primary schools

The contribution explores the performance of educational objectives on cognitive and affective levels in pupils at lower primary schools subject to application of different educational environments. The control group was taught in a traditional classroom, while the experimental group was given lessons in the school garden. The theme of the lessons consisted in commonly occurring invertebrates. Opinions and practical experiences of pedagogical worker and pupils with intellectual disability in the field of sexuality education

The article presents selected research results, the main goal of which was to find out the opinions and practical experiences of pedagogical staff and pupils with intellectual disability (ID) in the field of sexual education through semi-structured interviews. The partial goals were to find out whether the inclusion of sex education is sufficient from the point of view of teachers and pupils and whether there are adequate facilities and equipment for its implementation in the school.
