In this article we analyze the role of addressing students first year of the Faculty of Economics. The role of the statistical knowledge is used (reading information from the diagrams) and knowledge for calculating percentages. The main emphasis is put on the ability of students to read relevant information from the diagram, and also their ability to interpret the information in the context of the task.

Geoscience education is education about objects and phenomenas occure in abiotic nature. It is a part of natural education at primary schools and integrated to educational fields Nature and society in Slovakia and Man and his world in Czech Republic. I compare the percentage representation of natural education in educational programs of both selected countries and contents of particular subjects oriented to geoscience information as well. I exclusively focus on pedagogical documents of both countries.
The comprehensive services for families with deafblind children

In the process of upbringing and education of children with deafblindness plays the key role of early intervention. Institutions that provide early intervention, provide their customers - that is, the child and the parents of the child under the age of seven years - a comprehensive service aimed at supporting families and promoting child development with regard to its specific needs. In 2007 took place in the Czech Republic research investigations aimed at finding the specific needs of families of children with deafblindness in the early intervention. The article presents selected results from this investigation.
A Way to Improve Financial Literacy of Future Teachers

The document The system of establishment of financial literacy at primary and secondary schools was approved by the government in December 2007. In compliance with this document, the deans of university faculties preparing mathematics teachers for primary and secondary schools were invited to include the standards of financial literacy in the content of the relevant university programmes of education. The article deals with situation in the field of financial education at the Pedagogical faculty of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

This paper presents an analysis of the didactic background level of the History textbooks. It was chosen 9 current Czech history textbooks for the 6th grade of the primary school. Measurement of didactic background level of the textbook means quantity which is based on evaluating of the use of quantities verbal and video components. Aspects of creation e-learning courses on example of e-klima portal

In planning and following implementation of e-learning courses is necessary based on pre-established didactic scenarios. The scenarios have to set chapters respectively subchapters of content, their continuity and consistency. Following creation of each chapter and subchapter is based on basic structural elements selected to implement the most appropriate forms of content.
