Paired teaching in mathematics as an instrument of reflective model of education

This paper reflects one of the less common organizational forms of teaching through the lens of the teacher's practical experience. Paired teaching should lead to more effective lessons, as it is done in the presence of two or more teachers. They work together to plan, teach and evaluate the lessons. Especially because of the opportunity for joint reflection we can see the added value of paired teaching as it leads the participating teachers to formulate their own conclusions and feelings. Stress is a major problem in the teaching profession. It is related to work overload, lack of teaching staff, lack of coping strategies and a high staff turnover. Factors influencing teacher's biophilic orientation and his/her approach to (environmental) education - review of the issue

The aim of the paper is to point out the importance of the global ecological crisis and to emphasize the need for biophilic education as a possible way to overcome the crisis. The article provides a brief overview of a wide range of the factors influencing the an individual's biophilic orientation and highlights the specific role of the teacher as the main protagonist in effective school environmental education.
Garden-based education in the regions of the Czech-Austrian borderlands

The main objective of the research was to verify the existence of school gardens in schools situated in the regions of the Czech-Austrian borderlands and assess the available material potential and readiness of primary schools for the introduction of garden-based education in teaching. The staff of 259 primary schools situated in the South Bohemian, South Moravian and the Vysočina regions worked together on the research. Data was obtained through an electronic survey questionnaire. Specific relationships between children's cognitive and motor development is currently discussed in foreign literature. The period of younger school-aged child is characterized by high motor docility. The amount of motor skills is important for a child because it allows to participate in school-class activities with peers. Massive open online courses "MOOC" - how searching courses

In the online virtual environment, it is now possible to study a many of different subject disciplines, almost anywhere with an Internet connection. The presented text describes the way and possibilities of searching MOOC courses using special search engines called "MOOC aggregators". The aim of the article is to introduce different types of search engines and their generally shared characteristics, opposite to their specific specifications.
