Jarmila Dubová
PhDr. Jarmila Dubová, Ph.D., Katedra německého jazyka, PdF UP

The Faculty of Education, Palacký University, Olomouc provides education for primary school teachers. Compared to the recent past, foreign languages are being taught more at the moment, however it is English that predominates. German is taught as an option from 7th to 9th class (age 13-15) and it does not become a compulsory subject until secondary schools. That is why the Department of German wants to find out a) at what types of school and b) to what extent its graduates teach.
