Indiscipline in school is a constantly discussed topic. In practice, teachers encounter the phenomenon of indiscipline on a daily basis. It is necessary for them to be able to recognize, diagnose and solve its specific manifestations. The aim of this empirical study is to describe how teachers and pupils of a specific class characterize indiscipline, or manifestations of unruly behavior in teaching, and through targeted reflections and self-reflections to achieve a verbal description of perceived indiscipline. Building, persistence and denial of the cult of P. O. Hviezdoslav in school books

The study focuses on the reflection of P. O. Hviezdoslav in the school books, noting the building of the cult of Hviezdoslav as the greatest Slovak poet. The material base consists of thirty-two didactic publications for primary and secondary schools published between 1954 and 2021. The aim of the paper is to find out, on the basis of a content-motivic analysis (supplemented by a stylistic analysis of references), to what extent the myth of the greatest Slovak writer is supported and created by school practice.
