The interest in the educational climate means defining the research subject in particular. We can find a lot of approaches to educational climate in the professional literature. While defining the educational climate it is advisable to consider its relation towards e.g. class climate or school climate. This article contains knowledge about evaluation of the text difficulties of five actual Czech biology textbooks for the ninth year of the primary education. Evaluation methods were realized according to Průcha. Obtained results of text difficulties show - textbooks of different publishing companies made from 39,48 points (SPN publishing company) to 29,39 points (Scientia publishing company). The density of the scientific information (i) achieved different values: 33,24 - 24,89%.
