Pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are at risk due to their less favourable position in the class group, are more likely to be rejected and experience feelings of isolation. The aim of the presented research is to investigate and compare how pupils with SLD and ADHD are received by their classmates as well as to compare selected behavioural manifestations of pupils with the respective disorder in relation to their classmates. Data collection method was document content analysis: pedagogical-psychological characteristics of pupils with SEN and ADHD; data processing methods: statistical description and inference processed through the SPSS computer programme.
Conclusion: pupils with combined type of ADHD (in comorbidity or without comorbidity with SLD) are the least accepted by their classmates, they most often disturb and irritate their classmates compared to pupils with SLD or pupils with ADD (in comorbidity or without comorbidity with SLD). No significant differences were found in the degree of isolation from classmates between the studied groups.
Keywords: specific developmental learning disability, specific behavioural disorder, SLD, ADHD, peer social relationships.
