Personal and Professional Identity of Students of Teaching for the Second Stage of Primary School at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University

The article considers the characteristics, analysis and classification of personal and professional identity of students of teacher training programmes at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University in Olomouc, the Czech Republic. Specifically, the exploration identifies one's individual relationships towards oneself, the chosen programme, the faculty, as well as the university. There was a total of 6 graduate respondents in a qualitative research design with a semi-structured interview being the research tool. Grounded theory was the chosen method of data analysis.
