Health Promoting School Project - Research of School Climate

The main goal of this contribution is to inform about the research carried out in 2007 on Medical and Social Secondary School at Chrudim that belongs among Health Promoting Schools. The principles of this project are to create a positive school climate.
The text presents partial results of a quantitative questionnaire inquiry, where students, their parents and teachers were examined. It focuses on evaluation of five areas of school climate by three groups of respondents and by four grades of the school. The conclusion is based on the findings that show how the opinions and the overall evaluation of the school climate of the respondent groups differ.
The paper contributes to awareness of the topical issue of school climate and, at the same time, to evaluation of climate of the chosen school.
