From Action Research to School Improvement

In the Czech pedagogical literature small attention is paid to action research for the present while in the external literature that is very frequent concept recently. Therefore the article is focused on the theory of this concept and possibilities of its practical application.

Keywords: Action research, reflection, school improvement, traditional research, pro-active, re-active and co-operative action research.
