In these days, a library is not only a place where people can borrow books. It offers more opportunities, for individuals as well as for groups. Many people need to meet up, but they miss a place. Karel Dvořáček Library wants to be their natural meeting place, so-called community centre. The aim of the library is to support a relationship between people and the place where they live and also to develop cultural and educational activities meeting the needs of the community. Among others, it is the Third Age Academy - education for seniors, PC courses for people of active age, memory training and brain jogging.
