The present paper discusses some current problems involved in the practice of teaching healthcare subjects. Emphasis is placed on the organizational aspects of practical teaching and on sanitary and health-safety guidelines that must be respected when teaching healthcare subjects. Some methods of stimulating students' interest, which are applicable to practical teaching, are proposed. The training itself and student projects are described in greater detail. The paper further addresses the issue of examining, evaluating, and grading students in healthcare subjects.
