The article deals with the relation between subjective health and objective health in relation to life satisfaction and attachment in comparison of young adults with physical disability with intact population. Four self-rated questionnaires were used: the World Health Organisation Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0), the subscale Health of Life Satisfaction Questionnaire, Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and Experiences in Close Relationships (ECR). The research sample consisted of 210 individuals, hereof people with physical disability and intact population in relation 1 : 1. The average age on the total sample was 23.5 years. We found a positive correlation between subjective health and life satisfaction as well as a negative correlation between insecurity in attachment and subjective health (life satisfaction). The individuals with physical disability reported significantly lower subjective health and lower life satisfaction in comparison to intact population. No differences were found in attachment between the people with physical disability and the intact population.
