The partial goals were to find out whether the inclusion of sex education is sufficient from the point of view of teachers and pupils and whether there are adequate facilities and equipment for its implementation in the school. The results show that sex education is sufficiently represented in pupils with moderate and severe ID and there is adequate time and space for it at school. On the contrary, according to teachers and students, its classification is completely insufficient for pupils with mild ID. Pupils with mild ID report that they paid very little attention to individual topics and that the information they have learned is insufficient. The research also pointed to the inadequate background and equipment of the given schools for the implementation of sexual education, both in the field of visual aids, teaching materials and methodologies, and spatially.
