Analyzes this issue in the context of incorporation in school educational programs of children's homes with regard to the educational goals aimed at developing the competencies of adolescents for independent living after leaving DD. The text is based on the assumption that the monitored area is inconsistently and insufficiently grasped in terms of processing in the SEP of children's homes. In many respects, these competencies do not meet the needs of adolescents and their actual adoption in the life of an children's homes. The main goal of the paper is based on available knowledge about the content and goals of school educational programs of children's homes to design a proposal for innovations that could reflect as much as possible the main mission of children's homes, which is the successful social inclusion of individuals in society after leaving for independent living.
