The staff of 259 primary schools situated in the South Bohemian, South Moravian and the Vysočina regions worked together on the research. Data was obtained through an electronic survey questionnaire. The research shows that only 25% of primary schools participating in research do not have a school garden. Various features are currently being built in gardens that will make them more complex and usable spaces, with the disappearance of gardens used for cultivation only. School gardens are used in varying degrees in all school subjects.
