The research aims to find out to which extent the biological topics are associated with teaching evolution and natural selection. Total of 350 teachers from the Czech Republic and 122 teachers from England and Scotland took part in the research. The data were collected from online questionnaires. The main statistical procedures used for data analysis were descriptive statistics and chi-square test. The results show that Human Evolution and the Origin of life are the most common topics taught at Czech schools in the context of biological evolution while the British schools focus on Genetics and Adaptation.
