In the introduction we give an outline of the concepts of social pedagogy in chosen European countries. We also include a proposal of an innovative concept of social pedagogy curriculum. Our motivation is to search employment possibilities of a social pedagogue in the labor market in the situation of the Czech Republic; we take into consideration the independence and attractiveness requirement of this profession. The graduate profile is thus formed by a professional person, who, among other things, presents e.g. healthy lifestyle in a very attractive and persuasive manner, he or she can collaborate or create a media campaign against risk behavior, can analyze its effects, can propose further measures, etc. ER
