This is a very difficult time for all those involved. However, society still tends to see divorce as a "normal thing". For parents and children, however, it is not, as it disrupts their day-to-day lives. The parents are immersed in their feelings and deal with "practical matters", while the children can be overlooked. The question of joint custody and the impact this model has on children of pre-school age is presented through the results of research carried out in 2013 and 2014. The research was qualitatively oriented. This study presents our findings, obtained through in-depth interviews with the parents of pre-school children who have requested joint custody.
