The intervention program had been based on the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy. During this program the client goes through 12 structured sessions. These sessions are designed so that the client will understand of the functioning methamphetamine in the human body. An important factor in this methodology is understand to connections between thinking, emotion, behavior and physiology of the body to use methamphethamine and realized triggers and consequences of use.
