AB The author outlines the needs of parallel development of knowledge and influence of approaches in the process of adult education. The methods used in institutional education of adults are focused mainly on knowledge development but there are specific development areas where the effectiveness of education lies not in cumulating field-related information but rather in influencing approaches. Such an area is e.g. social responsibility which is currently being presented as a significant part of the business world, of managerial education as well as of business ethics of different companies. The paper presents the author's intentions for her dissertation thesis.
