AB The article presents a part of results of a small explorative qualitative research focused on three groups from further professional education: employers, educators and guidance practitioners. The text summarizes knowledge about information and guidance services in further professional education, which are insufficient or nonexistent in the Czech Republic. Also the identified development needs of guidance practitioners are shortly described (topics, which the guidance practitioners need to study and a conception of professional corporation "meaningful" for guidance practitioners). The text offers the review of deficiencies, which have to be repaired to let the further professional education grow and develop itself.
