AB In the process of upbringing and education of children with deafblindness plays the key role of early intervention. Institutions that provide early intervention, provide their customers - that is, the child and the parents of the child under the age of seven years - a comprehensive service aimed at supporting families and promoting child development with regard to its specific needs. In 2007 took place in the Czech Republic research investigations aimed at finding the specific needs of families of children with deafblindness in the early intervention. The article presents selected results from this investigation.
