AB  - The paper reports on an assessment of graphical information as it is presented in 22 current Czech biology textbooks. Wahla's methodology was adopted for the analysis. Results show that illustrations are most frequent (59,2% - 95,58%), schematic figures and other forms of visualization are less frequent or even completely absent.
