T1 Evaluation of the text difficulties of biology textbooks for the eighth year of the primary education by two methods

AB This article contains knowledge about evaluation of the text difficulties of 5 actual Czech biology textbooks for the eighth year of the primary education. Two methods were implemented. One of them was realized according to NESTLER-PRŮCHA-PLUSKAL and the next one according to PRŮCHA. Similar results of the text difficulties were obtained by both methods - from 34,62 points to 33,97 points. Lower variability of the text difficulties and syntactic factor were achieved by method NESTLER-PRŮCHA-PLUSKAL. The most difficult is the textbook of the FORTUNA publishing company, and the textbook of the SCIENTIA publishing company is not as difficult as the others.
