AB  - The article gives a brief overview about the structure of special education and the related services in the USA. The whole system is divided into several cathegories. General information about the basic laws affecting the individiuals with disabilities is also presented.The last part of the article is dedicated to the position of learning disabilities within the system of special education in the USA. It shows the various possibilities offered to the individuals diagnosed with a learning disability.
