AB This article contains knowledge about evaluation of the text difficulties of five actual Czech biology textbooks for the ninth year of the primary education. Evaluation methods were realized according to Prucha. Obtained results of text difficulties show - textbooks of different publishing companies made from 39,48 points (SPN publishing company) to 29,39 points (Scientia publishing company). The density of the scientific information (i) achieved different values: 33,24 - 24,89%. ER
